Tuesday, December 13th, 3-5:30pm
We will help sort donated medical supplies for local, national and other countries in need (ie. Third world countries)    
 
Wednesday, December 14th, 3-5pm
Christmas BINGO!!!
 
The Senior Residents LOVE our Christmas Spirit :)

  
Thursday, Dec. 15th, 6:30-8:30pm
    
 


We will  make Christmas crafts with the children who are staying this Catholic Family Center emergency shelter.

Week of December 4th

Tuesday, December 6th, 3-5:30pm
Every other Tuesday, we help the elderly with light  

chores.  In December, we'll help with Christmas Decorations and light kitchen cleaning, vacuuming, dog-walking, etc.  You bring big smiles to the elderly!  Transportation is provided for you.  Just sign up and show up in the Gallery after school!
ADULTS NEEDED!     
 
Tuesday, December 6th, 6:15-8:15pm
We bake cookies (and eat them too) and bring comfort to family members whose loved one is dying.  After baking, we are given a tour of this peaceful facility and learn about end-of-life-care. 
     
Wednesday, December 7th, 3-5pm
Christmas Craft or Decorating Day!
  (Next week, 12/14 is
Christmas BINGO) 
Each week, we walk to this Senior Living community.  We often play board games and/or Wii Bowling.  Sometimes, we make crafts.  We ALWAYS enjoy talking and visiting with the elderly.

 
Thursday, Dec. 8th, 3-5:30pm
    
 We will bake and decorate Christmas cut-out cookies with the women and children at this Catholic Worker House of Hospitality.  Bethany House provides emergency shelter for women and their children

Week of November 13th: community service opportunities...

Tuesday, November 15th, 3 - 5:30pm
Every other Tuesday we help the elderly with odds-n-end jobs here at this senior living community.  Jobs include Christmas decorating, dog-walking, light gardening, organizing, game playing, vacuuming, to name a few...      
 

Tuesday, November 15th, 6-8pm (Meet at Mercy, 5:30pm to carpool)
The 3rd Tuesday of every month is our volunteer time slot at Foodlink.  We help sort and organize donated food from places such as Wegmans, Tops, etc... 

 

Wednesday, November 16th, 3-5pm
Each week, we walk to this Senior Living community.  We often play board games and/or Wii Bowling.  Sometimes, we make crafts.  We ALWAYS enjoy talking and visiting with the elderly.

 

Wednesday, November 16th, 6:30pm-8:30pm (Meet at Mercy at 6:30 to carpool together)
This emergency shelter is run by Catholic Family Center.  Women and children live here temporarily as they regain ground and support after incarceration, addiction, job loss, etc.  Each month, we make crafts with the children.  This night we'll make Thanksgiving crafts!
